The Simpsons Hit & Run: 3 Random Vehicles For GTA III

The following 3 vehicles were ripped from Hit'n'Run and converted to GTA III

-----Homer's 70's Sports Car-----
-----'36 Studz Bearcat-----------
-----Malibu Stacy Convertable----

NOTE: I do not own these vehicles, they are, and still remain the sole property of Radical Entertainment, Vivendi Universal Games, Fox Interactive, Gracie Films and all the creators of these models.

Software needed for this mod:

1. DMagic1 Wheel Mod for GTA III (these vehicles use custom wheels
2. Text Editor (for editing handling.cfg)
3. ImgTool 2.0 (for adding the models)
4. GTA III (Of Course!)

Installation Instructions

1. Since the cars DON'T have to replace a specific model, I have named the vehicle models as a short version of there Hit'n'Run names ( E.g. MStacie.dff/txd is the Malabu Stacie Convertable), therefore it is necessary to rename the cars to desired model you wish to replace (for example you could rename MStacie.dff/txd to banshee.dff/txd if you wanted to replace the banshee. However, DO NOT replace special vehicles (such as the Rhino, Taxi, Ambulance or Police) this can cause the game to crash!

2. Once renaming is complete, open up gta3.img with IMGTool, EXPORT the original models and BACKUP!, then DELETE the original models from the gta3.img then ADD the renamed Hit'n'Run models (be sure during this step NOT to use the REPLACE button, the file sizes are different and it won't work...) always remember to REBUILD the archive when finished!

3. After importing the models, you will need to open a text editor and scroll down to the handling lines of the cars you replaced, then replace the handling of the cars with the handling lines found at the bottom of this Readme, DO NOT overwrite the names of the cars when pasteing in the new lines, this will corrupt the handling and crash the game!

4. It is now time to tell the game that you are using custom wheels on the cars you have replaced, open the default.ide file in your DATA folder and look for the lines of your car, here is an example usng the banshee...

119, banshee, banshee, car, BANSHEE,	BANSHEE, executive, 10, 7,	0,	160, 0.7

The "160" is the number we will need to replace, this number varies depending on the car model, the numbers range from 160-169, if DMagic's wheel mod was installed correctly, you should be able to replace this 3 digit number with "89" which is the number of the light_mod wheel type, save the default.ide and ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BACKUP!
5. Play the game!
Maybe More Models Coming Soon!
